Debi discovered qigong about ten years ago.
She was searching for a slower-paced
movement therapy following a successful brain
surgery that would include gentle movements,
relaxation and breath work. She discovered
qigong, a 5000 year old energy exercise
meaning, “working with your vital life force”.
It is the foundation of both t’ai chi and kung
fu. Qigong emphasizes the importance of one’s
internal health, while conventional exercises,
performed in a fitness center, focus on outside
physical conditioning. Her personal routine
includes standard fitness exercises, biking,
Chi Walking, qigong, t’ai chi, and meditation.
